Bruce Springsteen

Despite never having held a job outside of music, Bruce Springsteen is known for his everyman lyrics and blue-collar live performances. With records across more than five decades, Springsteen's music was for a time 'the' symbol of working class America.



Springsteen's musical journey began in the late 1960s when he performed with the Castiles and later Steel Mill, shaping and being shaped by the 'Jersey sound'.. In 1972, he released his debut album, "Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.," which showcased his storytelling ability amid dense lyrics.
